Tips for New Residents, Having a family during training, while switching from ENT to Anesthesiology with Dr. Jamel Lowery
Starting as a new resident is tough, and when you are coming from a different specialty into anesthesiology can add another layer of challenge. Dr. Lowery shares the following tips that helped him when we was an ENT resident into anesthesiology.
1- Overcommunicate
2- Be detailed oriented
3-Avoid trying to do everything- you wont be able to!
4-1st 6 months of residency is crucial, invest the time do your best
5-Pay attention to the feeling you have going into work
6- Having a strong support system is crucial
